Conflict in engagement is not a new thing, but the dial sure seems to be getting turned up when it comes to community outrage. Joel Levin, Managing Director of Aha! Consulting and IAP2 Trainer and Board member, will explore some of the fundamentals of engagement and how it can be used to prevent and/or deal with conflict in engagement.
With over 16 years’ experience working across corporate, government and community organisations alike. Joel Levin is the founder of Aha! Consulting and he seen the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to engagement.
From placards and security guards, to shared visions and re-established trust, Joel has worked in infrastructure, transport, health, community service, extractive industry and more.
In 2015, he began working with the United Nations in the Asia-Pacific to support the engagement for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
With a background in community and human services, Joel is a licensed trainer for the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), a board member of the Australasian association and Co-Chair of the global practise development committee.
