Join Uncle Gavi from the Darkinjung LAC for a walking tour of the Bulgandry Aboriginal Place Kariong. The tour involves the story of the creation of the 7 language groups. We will then depart for Somersby Girrikool Water Falls for a walk looking at bush foods and plant uses.
Casual dress, comfortable walking shoes and please bring your own water, sunscreen and hat.

NSW Young Planners Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability Tour

The Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability Tour is an exciting collaboration with NSW Young Planners and North Sydney Council (Council). All are welcome to explore the ex-industrial coal bunkering site which has been transformed into a centre which displays best-practice sustainable technology, community gardens, native bush nursery, food gardens, regenerated parklands and a fascinating history.
The tour will be guided by David Banbury, Project Coordinator at Council, who has been involved in the urban renewal project since its inception.
